Hosmarkhotels ‘Going Greener’ strategy has been developed as MICE, leisure & business travel markets are beginning to concentrate their activities on suppliers that have strong green credentials. As many of our partners are in diverse destinations, it is key that the hotels are operated in a sustainable way and that the impact of tourism does not have an adverse effect  on the indigenous people and wider environment of that country. 

Many of our hotel partners are committed to environmental, social and cultural conservation across their locations and are working towards recognised accreditations. As such, we have asked our hotels to provide details of their policies and activities in our survey below. CPI Hotels as a group places special emphasis on Green projects in all the countries where they operate. CPI Clarion Congress Hotel and the neighbouring shopping mall Fenix are working together to improve the sustainability and ecological awareness across both sites. A major environmental impact programme was instigated during a recent major refit. Their green programme called Join Pure Life sets a series of standards to try to mitigate their impact on the environment and lower their carbon footprint. They are able to provide evidence of their energy, recycling and other projects.

Plants and herbs for the hotel restaurants are grown on the roof of the building, and 11 bee hives are kept there as well. They are involved with many charities and other non-profit organisations.
